What's the worst excuse a student has given you for not having their homework?
-"Oh that was homework? I didn't think you were serious about that."

Why did you decide to become a teacher?
-I love Social Studies and I hope to instill that in my students.  Also I have had really awesome and inspiring teachers who greatly impacted my life.  If I even make half the impact they had on me, on a student of mine, it will be all worth it. 

  What kind of student were you in high school?
-I've always loved school so I was a pretty good student.  I will say that I was a MUCH better student in college than I was in high school.  But even in high school I was driven.  I did Post-Secondary and still tried to stay involved in extracurricular activities at my school. 

 

What's your biggest pet peeve?
-Lying.  I really hate being lied to, I feel like it is so unnecessary.  The truth is always easier in the long run.  Lying really inhibits the growth of any relationship, including the relationship between teachers and students.  Also I hate Spiders, but I guess that's more of a fear than a pet peeve....

What would you do if you won the lottery?
-First I would tithe, and then I would try to spoil my friends and family.  I think I would pay off all the school loans that my friends have.  Many of them are young professionals like myself trying to start their careers and paying off their school loans would be huge to them.  I would then help my family in anyway that I could.  Maybe new houses and cars for everyone!!!  Next I would take a HUGE trip.  The Princess Cruise Line does a World Cruise that is 3 months long and visits 6 out of the 7 continents.  Finally I think that I would invest wisely and go back to school, I would love to get my doctorate and have the time, money and resources to do so at my own pace while enjoying the luxuries of my new found wealth. 

Would you rather be rich or famous?
-Rich!  Then you have the money to do something awesome that will make you famous.

What's one thing you have done that you are proud of?
-At the age of 19 I worked for what the media called the #1 Most Watched Senate Race in the entire U.S.  Ask me about it sometime! :)I was the youngest person ever on staff and I got to do some really awesome things in the political world.

Did you play any sports in high school?
-Basketball and Track

Name three things you like to do in your spare time?
-I love to play board games/cards with my friends and family.  I like to travel and try to take at least one trip per year.  Finally, I like to sing and do theater, its something I've done all my life and its a great hobby.

-Always try your best.  You'd be shocked at what you're capable of...
