What's the worst excuse a student has given you for not having their homework?
-My dog/baby brother ate it.

What is your most memorable moment at BHS?
- I guess, while there have been many memorable moments at BHS, the times that stick out in my mind are the times spent with students and staff. However, observing Mr. Howe break up fights in the cafeteria, using his unique techniques with Pat and Paul Butterfield as his assistants.

Why did you decide to become a teacher?
-I decided to become a teacher because so many of my role models growing up were teachers. I decided that I too wanted to help young people.

What kind of student were you in high school?
-I was a B\ C student with an occasional A. I spent most of my time playing sports and hanging out with my friends.

Do you, or did you ever have any nicknames in high school?
-Simi

What's your ring tone?
-I just have the standard tone, nothing special.

What's your biggest pet peeve?
-Excuses

Name three things you dislike.
-1. Baseball Rainouts 2. People who don't respect other people's opinion regardless how wrong they are. 3. No parking spots

What would you do if you won the lottery?
-Pay off all my bills.

Would you rather be rich or famous?
-Rich

What's one thing you have done that you are proud of?
-I don't think I can list just one thing that surpasses all other things as the one thing I am most proud of. I think the thing I probably am most proud of is being a loyal servant and employee of BHS for many years and trying to help our school be the best it can be. I am also very proud to share a profession with so many special colleagues.

Did you play any sports in high school?
-Yes, football, basketball, and baseball.

What kind of car did you drive in high school?
-I had a sweet 2 door 1967 Ford Fairlane 500. It was cherry red.

Name three things you like to do in your spare time.
-1. Gardening 2. Jogging 3. Fishing/Hunting

Do you have anything you'd like to say to current or future students?
-Always try to do your best. Remember, people won't remember what grade you got in a particular subject, but they will never forget what kind of person you were. Character.
