Student Council will meet Friday October 17th @7:40 in Mrs. Beckell's room.

The National Honor Society is offering tutoring this year during the chool day rather than before or after school. Tutoring days are Wednesday and Friday. Subjects will be tutored depending upon the comfort level of the tutorer. 2 to 3 tutorers are available per period with the exception of none available 6th.

This Friday, October 10th the second copy of the The Paw Print, Bath High Schools Newspaper is going to be sold. Remember that you can get your copy before school from staff members and from Mr. Gomez, at lunch in the cafeteria, and in also in study hall. In addition, Mr. Gomez will also be selling copies in his room all day. The cost of the Newspaper is 25 cents. Don't forget to bring your quarter.
Dan from Lima Sprting Goods will be taking shoe sizes for any high school girl planning on playing basketball this year. sizing will take place during lunch on Monday October 13, 2008 in the high school gym.

There will be a meeting on THURSDAY during Channel One in the high school lobby for any student interested in participating on the swim team.
Team Extreme will provide us with an assembly on Wednesday, October 8th @ 2:25p.m. We will follow the 2:15 dismissal time schedule. All 9th-10th and 11th grade students need to sit in the bleachers above the permanent seats in the gymnasium. The seniors will sit with the 7th and 8th graders in the permenant seats. The 5th and 6th grade students will be seated on the floor in front of the permenant seats. We hope you enjoy the performance!!!
Thursday, October 9th we will be giving an end-of-the-year Algebra 1 test. this test is simply a field test to see how well students are prepared to go on and tak more advanced math courses. So, if you took Algebra 1 last year you will be taking this test. The test will be given in study hall 6th period and will take approximately 1 hour. Please check the list of names outside study hall to see if your name is on it.
ATTN. SENIORS, You must order your cap, gown, graduation announcements, etc. on Friday before school or during lunch in the concession stand. A 50$ deposit is required. Make you check payable to Jostens. Don't forget to order enough graduation announcements.
'ACT, TOO', formerly known as "Actors Doing Drama" is holding its first production November 14th and 15th 2008. Act, too meets Wednesdays from 4:00- 5:30 p.m. at Lima Senior High School. Introductory Meeting will be held Wednesay October 8th 2008 at 4:00 p.m.

Dates for the ACT preparation are October 22 and 23. as in the past, there will be to sessions per night in each of the five subject areas covered on the ACT: reading, English, math, science, and writing. All five subject areas will be offered each evening. Each session will be one hour and ten minutes in length allowing students to attend only two sessions per evening. So, to prepare for four sections, you will need to attend both evenings. If you are interested stop by the guidance office for more information.

Rhodes State College and the Ohio State Lima are joining forces with the Lima/Allen County College AAccess Progream to provide the areas largest college night for future students- the 31st Annual Lima Campus College Fair. More than 60 colleges and universities from Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania will attend the fair.

If you would like to take the PSAT you must sign up in the guidance office by Friday, October 10th. The cost of the test is $13. Make checks out to Bath High School.

The Bath Senior Ford PAS Class is joining the cause of Tabs for Tyler. Tyler Priest, a 7th grade student at Van Wert Middle School, was in a tragic accident on July 6th. His father Bob Priest is Van Wert High School's football coach. We are collecting tabs for the family to donate to the Ronald McDonald House in Tyler's name. Money donations will also be graciously accepted. the Elementary, Middle and High School's will be participating in this event.
It will start September 22nd and run to October 22nd. Tabs from pop cans, energy cans, beer cans, soup cans, food cans, and pet cans are all acceptable. Students may turn in tabs to their teachers or the office. Please help us with this great cause.Thank you for your support!

2) Juniors- In order for you to take advantage of these visits, you must have a study hall at that time. You have next year to take full advantage of the visits.
3) Please check the schedule of visits by the college reps posted on the outside door of Mrs. Miller's office. It is the most up to date list of presentations.
