1. The applicant must be a graduating senior and a member in good standing in the Bath High School Choir or Band program.
 2. The applicant must have a recommendation from their current HS music director.  This must be included in the application.
 3. The scholarship will be paid directly to the student upon receipt of verification by the High School Music Director that the student is a member in good standing of a musical performance group in a College or University.  This verification must be provided as soon as possible during the next school year.  Failure to provide this verification will cause the scholarship to be withdrawn.
 4. There may be at least one scholarship for an instrumentalist and one scholarship for a vocalist.
 5. Any incomplete or late applications or those missing reference materials or Principal's signature will not be considered.

Remembering Laura Scholarship

A scholarship will be given in the amount of $250 to one Bath High School senior who will be attending college in the fall.  This scholarship is non-renewable.


For this scholarship, write a 500 word essay on one of two subjects-

1.      Describe your meaning of success in life which will lead to creating a better world 

2.      Pick a topic: pollution, overcrowded prisons, political parties, telehealth, public vs. charter schools vs. home schooling, legalizing marijuana etc. First describe the topic or controversy then offer your opinion on how to resolve problems.

The essay chosen for this scholarship will show depth of thought, development of ideas and a conclusion based on these ideas

Applicant must be either a recently graduated high school senior who will enroll as a freshman at a four year or two year college or university in the Fall OR a student currently enrolled on a full-time basis at an accredited four-year or two-year college or university.
 Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
 Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
 Essay must be no fewer than 1,000 words and no greater than 1,600 words.
 Essay must be applicant's original work.
 Essay must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. (PST) July 1st.

Submit a 500-1000 word essay to answer the following question:

What excites you most about the future of solar?

1. You must be (or planning on being) a full-time student at an accredited institute of higher education. In order to verify this, you must provide us an official statement verifying your enrollment.

2. You must have at least a 3.2 (out of a 4.0 scale) GPA.

3. Our annual scholarship deadline is July 1st. Winner will be notified by August 1st. Due to our scholarship being annual, the years will change, but the days will stay the same for the deadline.
