| What's the worst excuse a student has given you for not having their homework? |
Did not have access to any pencils or papers. |
| What is your most memorable moment at BHS? |
When I had to leave the school to take my wife to the hospital. The students were very concerned and handled themselves well while I was gone. |
| Why did you decide to become a teacher? Have you always wanted to be one? |
I recieved a scholarship from the State of Ohio on my 18th birthday to become a science teacher. I decided to become a teacher when I was an aide during my senior year of high school. |
| How many years have you been employed at BHS? |
This is my 3rd at Bath, 16th in education. |
| What kind of a student were you in highschool? |
I was fortunate to graduate with honors and always studied hard enough to get an A- or B+. After that I let the chips fall where they may. Going to small school I was a 3-sport athlete, involved in plays, SADD, and many other groups. |
| Have you ever given anything to a bum? |
We tried to give food to a bum once in Cincinatti.I try to never give money since they may buy things such as drugs or alcohol with the money. |

| What's the biggest challenge you have faced at BHS? |
Trying to prepare students to be successful young adults in college science classes. |
| What's your ringtone? |
I have one for my wife the others are pre-set. |
| Did you ever date anyone in highschool, and what were they like? |
I dated some during high school. I did have much better times at prom going as a group than with my girlfriend. We always argued about baseball games and the curfew that we were given on Friday night Proms before Saturday tournment games. |
| What's your biggest pet peeve? |
People not using good hygiene during cold season. |
| What would you do if you won the lottery? |
Try to live my life the same, I would still want to teach,coach, exercise and play sports. |
| Would you rather be rich or famous? |
Neither, the best things and memories in life usually do not involve much money or fame. |
| What's one thing you have done that you are most proud of? |
When my daughter was born. |
