Choice -- Students choose their own course of study and the pace at which they complete the desired levels.

Accountability --Students are responsible for managing their time, establishing goals, exhibiting proper business behavior, and completing software levels.

Competency --Students must complete a minimum standard of software levels. All work must meet BathPride standards.

Bath High School is proud of our dynamic facility which will prepare students for the challenges and rewards they will encounter in the real, post-high school world. We offer an integrated learning environment designed to promote the skills necessary to succeed in a competitive higher learning environment such as a four year college or university, as well as the employability skills necessary for attaining a job or career in the business world.

BathPride includes computer technology and workspace for each individual in an office environment, where students work on self-directed learning activities. The philosophy which drives BathPride, The Company, was derived from what businesses and colleges are looking for in new employees and students. Universities and employers want people who know their individual abilities and who are dependable, self motivated, independent, organized, and have good communication skills. We have implemented all of these qualities into our program. We also incorporate the advantage of teaching several subjects in one classroom setting, thus allowing students (employees) to gain exposure to a variety of subjects and explore areas of interest utilizing up-to-date resources.

This program stresses independent learning, self-discipline, motivation, problem solving, and mature behavior/attitude. We also stress the "working smart" concept (making the best possible use of time)
