The Elementary had their Unity day today, which included everyone wearing their new BES Blue Ribbon Unity shirts, an induction ceremony for our safety patrol, a reminder about the importance of great attendance, and a focus on the Wildcat Way!

We recently completed vision screenings for our students. If you received a referral letter in the mail, please schedule an appointment with your eye doctor or sign your student up for our school-based vision services through Health Partners of Western Ohio.
Health Partners can provide vision care for your student through their senior year and can provide a new pair of glasses when needed.
Simply complete the Health Partners form and return it to school. Thank you for helping us keep our students healthy and ready to learn!

The Bath Local Schools is committed to staff development that leads to increased student achievement and that benefits the whole child. On Wednesday, a team of teachers who serve both our gifted and students with disabilities populations attended a professional development (Designing for Student Success) provided by The Center of Excellence on Instructional Practice/OCALI to support ALL students with executive functioning skills. This training involves two full-day sessions and four Zoom sessions. Wednesday’s focus was the science behind executive functioning (child’s brain development) along with 3 main challenges for students: inhibitory/impulse control, working memory, and cognitive/mental flexibility. Our teams are excited to implement and share these strategies with other staff to support our students!
