Text Alerts and Emergency Procedures

School Text Alert Info

Parents, Guardians & Students:  To receive school communications, such as text alerts, emails and recorded phone messages, you will need to enter your contact information into your FinalForms parent account.  Parent / Guardian contact information (information entered as Parent/Guardian #1 and #2 in FinalForms) as well as the student cell phone field will automatically be imported into our text alert system, however, you must grant permission to receive text alerts. To grant permission, simply text YES to 67587 to opt into text alerts.

If you are not a parent/guardian, but wish to receive school text alerts and emails, please refer to the "How to Self Subscribe to SchoolMessenger" section.  You must log into your SchoolMessenger account once a year to keep your account active.  


Emergency Notification Protocol

Please be advised in the event of an emergency at Bath Local Schools, parents will receive notification and updates through the school text alert system (SchoolMessenger) and public media outlets.  Information will be shared as it becomes available as to when and where parents may pick up their students.  Notification will go through the Bath Local Schools Text Alert System, therefore, we encourage parents to sign up for text alert notifications by going to   Text alert messages will be brief and they will be directed to one or more of the following outlets: The Lima News, SchoolMessenger.
