Welcome to Bath Bands
Disney Trip June 2022
The instrumental program at Bath is grades 6 through 12.
Middle School
In the middle school, grade level bands scaffold instruction from year to year as students build their technical skills and musicality through performing on their chosen instruments.
6th grade band performs two concerts a year, one in December and one in May.
7th and 8th grade bands perform once each quarter during the school year, beginning with performing with the high school marching band at the Homecoming football game, then a performance in December, March, and May.
High School
At the high school, students have several ensembles they can participate in: Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Pep Band.
The "Tradition of Excellence" Marching Band performs at all Bath football games, Allen County Fair parade and band show, and our very own band show "The Bath Band Spectacular".
The Symphonic Band performs a Holiday Concert in December, at OMEA Large Group Adjudicated Events in March and at Band-O-Rama in May. At OMEA events, the Symphonic Band routinely received Superior Ratings from adjudicators.
The Jazz Band rehearses before school twice a week. The Jazz Band performs three concerts a year and does additional outreach performances at Bath elementary and middle school.
The Pep Band is a volunteer group of students who performs at 10 home boys basketball games during the season.
